Clearly wisteria is preferred. Here is the May teacup, with pink and blue wisteria, filled with Keemun and accompanied by roses and cherry sage from the garden. (Did you know that cherry sage is not merely ornamental? It is also edible!)
Thank you to all who voted in the poll. Results are here.
I was locked out of Facebook for a while. At first Meta did not tell me why, they merely told me they were going to shut down my pages. I posted about that on FB while I was still logged in after posting the teacup poll, just after I received the notice that my account was locked. About a week later I tried logging in again, at which point there was a message saying I was a naughty person for being inactive on my Instagram account! Well, thank you for the (not) prompt communication, Meta.
As you may have guessed, I do not have much affection for Meta. I don’t go on Facebook much any more, because I despise the ads and it’s really awful to navigate. I apologize for complaining about it here, but Meta immediately took down my Facebook post explaining that they had locked my account* and (ahem) complaining rather vehemently about their practices in general.
This is why you no longer see me on Facebook much, and I don’t expect that to change. (Climbs down from soapbox, straightens hat.)
Now then. As an alternative, you can find me on Bluesky (https://bsky.app/profile/patricegreenwood.bsky.social or follow @patricegreenwood.bsky.social), and there is also a fledgling Wisteria Tearoom Group on Discord (https://discord.gg/wBYxW4kvVs). Please join me at either or both!
Have a beautiful, flower-filled May!
~ Patrice
PS–Yes, I’m still writing book 9. Fingers crossed for publication later this year.
*Turns out they took it down from my personal account, but not the Wisteria Tearoom Group page. So it’s still there, for posterity. And I am still annoyed with Meta. Meanwhile, my account was hacked and a linked payment source was used to pay for some ads, apparently created by a Chinese person. (Don’t worry, I deleted the payment method, and the amount charged was not enough to bother contesting. My time is better spent writing.)
